Every year, more than 30,000 children are treated for burns and scalds in the UK and of those up to 6,000 require in-patient treatment.
Despite such numbers, studies show that seven out of 10 adults do not know what to do with a child in a medical emergency, no matter whether dealing with burns, electrical accidents or other injuries or illnesses.

Participants of the First Aid on Children course are parents, grandparents, care-takers, nannies, au-pairs as well as teachers of pre-school to elementary school children and employees of day-care centres.

You will also get advice on what to include in a first aid kit for children, including gentle remedies for mild injuries or daily ailments.
Parents, parents-to-be, grandparents and anyone else caring for children from early infancy and toddlers to pre-teenagers will learn life saving and basic first aid skills in this full day course. Upon completion, participants will have the knowledge and the confidence to deal with a sick child or a child in a medical emergency.
This course will take place on the 7th November 2020 from 8:30am - 6.30pm.
The course fee is CHF 165 per person and is due in cash in the course.
