Aimed at parents of babies and young children, we give useful hints and tips on how to avoid the dreaded ‘fussy eater’.

This workshop will focus on the following areas:

  • Identifying challenging eating behaviours in early childhood.
  • Helping children develop skills to try new foods.
  • How to react when foods are rejected.
  • Encouraging children to eat appropriate amounts of food.
  • Some basics on how the body works and grows and how these factors impact on your child’s appetite and eating patterns.

Who is this workshop for?

Parents and professionals who are conscious to avoid challenging eating behaviours developing in young children. You may be a new parent or a more experienced one who wants to learn some tips to develop healthy eating habits.

Cassie has 15 years of experience working with children and families in schools, childcare services and in their homes. She holds a Bachelors Degree (Hons) in Education from the UK as well as a NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. She holds specialised training in children's diet and nutrition, behaviour and outdoor education.
